Years after the Doom Slayer's campaign on Mars, Earth has fallen. Demonic legions from Hell have overrun the planet, wiping out most of humanity, while the once-trusted Union Aerospace Corporation has been corrupted into a demon-worshipping cult. The survivors have either fled the ruined world or rallied to a resistance movement fighting to reclaim it. Behind the invasion stand the Maykrs, an angelic alien race whose ruler, the Khan Maykr, has struck a dark bargain to sacrifice mankind for her own people's survival, enforcing her will through fanatical servants called the Hell Priests. Returning from exile aboard a colossal satellite fortress guided by an artificial intelligence, the Doom Slayer sets out to break Hell's grip on Earth. Driven by relentless fury and armed to the teeth, he wages a one-man war against the demonic horde, hunting down the Hell Priests to unravel the invasion and avert humanity's extinction.
